The
Mosaic Harmony Benefit Concert will be ECAC’s signature
event of the year, raising funds for our 2007 operating and
program expenses. Mosaic Harmony is a multi-faith, interracial
community choir that draws on the rich heritage of African-American
Gospel music. They strive to illustrate and encourage unity
in the midst of diversity, one song at a time. Committed to
the belief that Gospel music can create a community of interfaith
and racial harmony, the choir members represent several different
races, 17 faith traditions, and a variety of professions that
are joined together by the ministry of music. They were nominated
in 2003, 2004, & 2005 to receive The Wammie (Washington
Area Music Association – WAMA) award in the Gospel/Inspirational
Group Category.Our promotional plan targets patrons of the
ECAC Center, residents of the Pleasant Plains and Shaw/Howard
communities, church members, and artists. Your sponsorship
of this event will result in:
- Exposure of your organization
to more than 700 people, primarily residents of the Pleasant
Plains and Shaw/Howard communities,
- Recognition of your
organization as an active community participant
- A tax-deductible donation
to a 501C3 community based organization
- Revitalization of
the Pleasant Plains community through the work of the
ECAC

NOTES:
- The concert program
will be an 8 ½ X 11 booklet distributed to all
attendees.
The ECAC newsletter is produced bi-monthly, with the January
issue featuring a concert review and listing of contributors.
- Ads must be provided
to ECAC by December 1, 2006 to be included in the program
- Individual ticket
costs are $25 in advance, $30 at the door.
- The ECAC website,
www.ecacollective.org, will feature a Concert page which
will remain in place through December 2006.
- Table space will be
provided outside of the sanctuary for brochures or other
promotional material.
- The first part of
the program will include an ECAC promotional slideshow
which will conclude with the recognition of major contributors.
